What does a wedding consultant do?
We offer hourly consulting sessions—what we like to call “power hours”—to guide couples at any stage of the wedding planning process. While many of our consulting clients are just beginning their planning journey, we’re happy to provide advice and reassurance at any point along the way.
What happens at a wedding consultation?
Before the consultation, you’ll fill out a short form to share your ideas, plans, or challenges. This ensures we can make the most of our time together and dive straight into problem-solving rather than unpacking the basics.
During the call, we’ll address all the issues you’ve outlined in the form. Any remaining time is yours to ask as many additional questions as you like.
Is there anything you can’t help with during the call?
Our consultation is an advice session where you can tap into professional expertise for clarity on all aspects of wedding planning. This means we can’t create documents or execute specific tasks during the call but we can offer detailed guidance on the topic. For example, we can provide expert advice and guidance on how to book your wedding venue or suppliers, how to allocate your wedding budget, how to create certain logistical documents or design concepts, but we cannot give you actual supplier recommendations or create documents for you during the call. These resources are exclusive to our Full Planning service due to their complex and personalised nature.
Why is a wedding consultation helpful?
Whether you’re just starting to plan or need help navigating a specific challenge, a consultation is a cost-effective way to get professional insight.
If you’re at the beginning stages, we can clarify key details and help you get started on the right foot. If you’ve hit a roadblock, we’ll offer practical solutions and share strategies to avoid similar issues in the future.
How much does a wedding consultation cost?
Each consultation lasts one hour and costs £100. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any wedding-related questions and receive tailored advice, no matter where you are in the planning process. Should you wish to book further power hours, these are available at £80.
If you later decide to book our Full Planning service, we’ll refund the initial £100 consultation fee.
